There was something so inviting and mysterious about this little meadow and lake. I found it irresistible, so I drew it. There was a feeling of familiarity and a beckoning invitation. You may notice the keys in the foreground. This piece is also part of my “Unreconciled” series. In this series, keys are symbolic of things left behind in my past that were never quite resolved. The hills in the distance beckon me to move in, come closer, and explore the undiscovered possibilities.
