This was a demonstration painting I did for a watercolor class in which I demonstrated various watercolor techniques in one painting. I have found it hard to throw these away or store them for no purpose, so I have developed the habit of working them into finished paintings. You may notice the keys in this painting, which makes this piece part of my “Unreconciled” series. In this series, keys are symbolic of things left behind in my past that were never quite resolved.
